Kelowna Fall Events for Foodies & New Restaurants in Kelowna – 2024

Harvest season is upon us in the Okanagan which means Kelowna fall events and chefs get a renewed sense of creativity. New and more refined menus emerge at Kelowna restaurants as they make adjustments for local palates. we tourists depart and we reclaim our city! It is my favourite time of year with harvest dinners in wine country. There’s lots going on! These are some of the Kelowna fall events, new Kelowna restaurants and menus we are excited about.

BNA’s New Kelowna Speakeasy – Hello Darlin’

Leave it to the Nixon Group (Bernie’s, BNA, Snowshoe Sam’s & Skinny Duke’s) to bring a true Speakeasy to the Okanagan. Disguised on the second floor as Conway’s Mini Mart it feels like a façade entrance in the vibe of Vegas which has dove into the speakeasy scene head first. Interestingly, just as the Vegas strip makes room for more country bars (after the success of Ol’ Red), BNA’s speakeasy is country themed with line dancing, a juke box and karaoke inside a 150 person capacity hidden room behind the Airstream and Bocce court on the 2nd floor. Open from 9 pm or 6 pm on Sundays until 2 am starting September 19th, 2024. So I’ll be seein’ ya at this Kelowna speakeasy, yeehaw! Snag a reservation on Open Table.

Warm up with all you can eat Hot Pot at Pick Thai

Pick Thai is a family run Thai restaurant that has been providing the community with authentic eats for over 7 years. It is a must, especially for a cozy date night to snuggle over a flavourful boiling sukyaki broth, slurping up noodles and beef. You can grab all you can eat for $35.95 per person but I also recommend their cocktail menu. These drinks are tasty and served at affordable prices! Usually, in downtown Kelowna you’ll find cocktails ranging from $15+ but the purple pea flower Phuket Island cocktail is only $9.95. Don’t skip the imported ice cold Thai beer called Singha $6.95.

Kinton Ramen

Kelowna’s newest Ramen restaurant to open downtown is Kinton Ramen. Located in The Block development, this franchise has numerous locations in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia with expansions in New York and one in Chicago as well. Is the ramen scene here in Kelowna getting a little crowded? With Little Tokyo Ramen food truck, Sushi Sai, Ramen Arashi and many more variations of ramen being served in Asian restaurants throughout the city…we might need to do a ramen crawl to determine the best in Kelowna. What’s your favourite ramen dish in the city?
