Even before Taryn became engaged back in October, we knew it would be a Las Vegas Bachelorette party for the bridal party. We have been travelling to Las Vegas since we were 13 and 16 when we’d accompany my dad for his business trips during trade show season in January. We returned practically each year ever since we turned 21. We go for the incredible food, entertainment, a bit of gambling, and the endless amount of fun we have there each and every time. So a couple of pros like us should be able to plan the most epic Las Vegas Bachelorette itinerary right?
I gotta say it isn’t as easy as you’d expect since we’ve been so many times, we’ve already done so many things in our previous trips – a helicopter tour of the strip, an ATV tour in the dunes, countless shows, explored wine bars, so I knew this one trip would have to stand out, somehow.

Where to stay for a Las Vegas Bachelorette?
Hotel | Average Cost | Value for $ |
Park MGM | $69 – $350 USD per night | 9/10 |
Venetian / Palazzo | $169-$700 USD per night | 6/10 |
Wynn | $250 – $1000 USD per night | 7/10 |
The Cosmopolitan | $200 – $900 USD per night | 7/10 |
If you’re looking to keep things budget friendly I suggest having 4 people to one room if possible. If not, 2 to a room and request adjoining rooms would allow for more space. But a great budget hotel with comfortable rooms at a discounted rate is Park MGM. We stayed here for Taryn’s Bachelorette with 2 to a room. We signed up for the M Life rewards and instantly got rooms for $25 off regular price.
Park MGM Perks
The perk is definitely the location. You exit your hotel and you’re on the strip. We also love Eataly in the hotel as well as Roy Choi’s Best Friend restaurant.
The hotel pools are also a must with access to the hidden pool of the NoMad rooftop pool with reservations for a gazebo or day bed.
For a more upscale stay for a mid-level budget I’d suggest The Venetian. The spacious rooms provide a great place to lounge with your girlfriends before heading out for the night on the town. The only downside to the Venetian Hotel is that they have so many rooms and it can be a bit of a puzzling maze with so many hallways. This could be tricky when you’re a bit tipsy after a night out.
Venetian / Palazzo Perks?
The Venetian/Palazzo is a destination in its own right. Shopping the Venetian canals that connect to The Paris Hotel, the opulence makes it a fantastic spot for girls day. Added bonus, Tao Night Club and Kamu Karaoke is located inside the Grand Canals at The Venetian. Flight Club has a gorgeous carousel bar and darts venue that you can pre-book as well, located in the Palazzo before you exit to the strip/Wynn.
For a bougie stay it’s a tie between The Wynn and The Cosmopolitan.
The Wynn is stylish and luxe with even the standard rooms being spacious. The Cosmopolitan is more modern with one of the best restaurant selections in any resort hands down! You can splurge for a room with a patio view of the Bellagio Fountains. Worth it in our opinion!
Wynn or Cosmo Perks?
Both are perfectly situated on the strip at either end. The pools are top notch although if you are looking for a good show, The Wynn has Cosmo beat.
But then again, The Cosmopolitan has a food hall, the best restaurants for all budgets, speakeasys and more affordable gambling.
Make it special – Las Vegas Bachelorette Itinerary
So you’ve booked the hotel, now what? I recommend making it special.
- Decorate the room. See if one or a couple girls can check in early or before the bride. This way you can decorate a room fit for a Las Vegas Bachelorette. Don’t buy decor in Las Vegas, like most things, you’ll be paying extra. Try Etsy or kits that you can find online. Just be sure to bring a balloon air pump.
- Buy your supplies at off strip grocery stores or the CVS. Avoid hotel gift shops which are handy but come at a price.
- Create a printed itinerary and Bachelorette Bingo. I have a free template for download when you sign up for the FoodieTown.ca newsletter. – Get it in your welcome email, check spam just in case it arrives there.
- Create swag bags. As Maid of Honour I took it upon myself to create swag bags for us all. I splurged where it counted with monogramed stainless steel champagne cups, monogramed makeup bags and things that would be useful during a Bachelorette party in Vegas which includes…
The Food: Tips for making your budget go further in Las Vegas
I have a long list of really great restaurants in Vegas but it all depends on the vibe of the bachelorette party and budget.
I structured our Vegas bachelorette for foodies. Everyone who attended was also foodies and knew how much to budget for Las Vegas. We were all in the mindset that this was probably out last “hurrah” as in, this was our one shot for a bachelorette party in Vegas so it was important to get it right. If you’re like us I have provided some really great options below for all budgets. But some tips to make your money go further are…
- Be open to sharing your plates. Seriously, Las Vegas portions can be insane. At the Peppermill you can get a massive omelette for $30 but odds are you won’t finish it so consider splitting it with a girlfriend.
- We aren’t so much loving the buffets. Hands down the best buffet is at the Wynn.
- Food halls are the new buffets. With some really great options both on and off the strip your party can order whatever cuisine they feel like. This is especially great if they can’t decide on a place. Head to The Cosmopolitan’s Block 16 Food Hall for plenty of options to share…or not. Another great food hall can be found at Resorts World – Famous Foods is inspired by the food markets of Asia and has burgers, dumplings and so many great eats! Eataly at Park MGM is great for Italian food lovers as well and is where we stayed to specifically enjoy this food hall perk.
- Agree on one “splurge” with a budget in mind. We decided to use the first night to treat ourselves to a supper club experience. We had already enjoyed Superfrico on another visit so this time we opted for The Mayfair at the Bellagio! This is dinner and a show in one. If you do the math, you’re getting better value for a supper club with food and a show all rolled into one. A show can sometimes cost you $75-$200 per ticket. We decided to spend that money on good food in a stunning location with live music and entertainment – a supper club like only Vegas can deliver!
Budget Restaurants in Las Vegas That Deliver on Taste
Bang Bar at Cosmopolitan – Inside the Block 16 Food Hall is David Chang’s Bang Bar. If you won’t splurge for Momofuku (also inside the Cosmo) then this is the next best thing. The U wrap and bowls are quite large and could easily be shared. Head to the 2nd floor for Milk Bar for dessert to go. I said it before and I’ll say it again, The Cosmopolitan is a hotel for foodies!
Ocean One at The Planet Hollywood – While I cannot attest to it being amazing for taste, the price is undeniable. At $5.99 for ALL lunch dishes like hearty pasta dishes, salmon with mashed potatoes, a long list of Mexican options and more…this might be a good option.
Tacos El Gordo – You’ll probably find a line up at one of their 4 locations on nearby the Las Vegas strip. It is because the food is good and the tacos are each about $3.50.
Think Burgers – When in doubt, hit up a burger restaurant. For breakfast head to Egg Slut at the Cosmopolitan or Egg Head in the Aria for breakfast on the go for cheap. For lunch or dinner: Whataburger, In n’ Out, Crack Shack for a chicken rendition at the Park MGM, and many more options are a great way to fill your belly while on the cheap and on the go.
Mid-Level Dining Options
The Peppermill – Breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Peppermill has large portions that can be shared especially if you’re with your girlfriends on a Las Vegas bachelorette! I love the fireside dining bar that feels very retro. I am not ashamed to say I sat at the bar with a coffee as I waited for my table to be ready in the main dining room.
Dim Sum – Din Tai Fun or Washing Potato at the new Fountainbleau are both great options for tasty dim sum. Din Tai Fung is classic at the Aria and a reliable chain the world over. However, Washing Potato is bringing it to the Las Vegas level! A menu with photos of each dish so that you don’t get lost if you’re new to dim sum but also the atmosphere is a darkened venue with a vibrant light show that plays over the walls. You can also see into the kitchen for a more lively and “Vegas-y” vibe.
Ole Red – One of the best views of the strip, Ole Red is a country bar by Blake Shelton. I am not a country fan but the view of the strip and Bellagio Fountains is enough to convert me for a short while. Drinks and solid food is offered. Think burgers, chicken n’ waffles and more American food.
Momofuku – If you look at the menu at Momofuku it may seem a little expensive…I mean $268+ for 5 spice roasted duck? But hear me out, all their main event dishes are to share between 2-6 people and trust me, you can easily split between 6 people when they say for 4. Divide that between 4-6 and you’re in the affordable mid range of $45-$67 per person for a main and memorable dish. I’ve been to Momofuku with 6 people and with 3 people, sharing is THE way to go! You get to try more and not sweat the bill so much as compared to the restaurants in our next section below…
Splurge for these Las Vegas restaurants & experiences!
Superfrico is described as an American Psychedelic Supper Club. Make sure you request the table side buffalo mozzarella which is something we loved and felt it was worth the splurge. Expect unconventional performers, comedic acts and a DJ that will pop up throughout the evening.
The Mayfair at the Bellagio is another great supper club with views of the Bellagio fountains, a stage of performers and luxurious eats. If you want to book an ultimate girls night out without any of the cringe, then head to the Mayfair to add to your Las Vegas bachelorette itinerary. This is also a great spot to celebrate in Las Vegas for foodies.
The Garden Table at the Bellagio Conservatory is not for everyone. This 4-6 person dining experience is situated in the heart of the conservatory so you’ll be looked at just as much as the impressive display.
Delilah Supper Club at The Wynn is a difficult restaurant to get reservations for as they release spots 3 weeks at a time. I did find a sneaky way to secure reservations if you don’t see your date released yet. DM me on Instagram and I will share with you. Celebrities sometimes take the stage for surprise performances. I actually originally made a reservation but I decided to cancel because I didn’t want two very expensive dinners in one trip. Next time Delilah!
Cathédrale or Catch at Aria are both restaurants by the Tao Group which means guest experience is just as important as the food. We opted for Cathédrale because the bride loves a good martini and they serve one unlike any other! A massive ice block is brought to your table with a built in martini glass holder carved into the ice block as well as a spoon full of caviar. It is very Vegas! Catch and Cathédrale have picture perfect entrances so they are both great options for a celebration or date night – be sure to stop and take photos as this will be one dinner reservation you won’t soon forget!
Activities for a Las Vegas Bachelorette Itinerary
There’s so much to do it is easy to get overwhelmed on what to book. I left it up to us on how we felt the day of to select one of these activities. Yes, you can pre-book but that might be a mistake depending on if you’re going with slow travellers or those who like to do as much as possible.
You can always book on your phone and sometimes while you’re on the strip or through your concierge you might be offered better pricing if the event or show is at your hotel.
Flight Club
All that being said I did book us all a lunch and friendly game of darts at Flight Club at the Venetian / Palazzo. You book on their reservation system for $20 per person to reserve a lane. A full lunch menu and cocktails will be on offer – you can even pre-order your lunch or dessert tower to surprise your guest of honour. Don’t miss the gorgeous carousel bar for photos. This is a must for the Las Vegas bachelorette itinerary or any trip to Vegas!
Visit Uncommons for a local taste of Vegas
If you want to get off strip and experience a bit of the local’s version of Vegas then head to Uncommons. This mixed used space is about 20-30 minutes from the strip and includes some incredible dining, the Sundry food hall, Wineaux wine bar, All’Antico Vinaio (the best sandwiches from Florence, Italy) shopping and so much more.
Play Playground at Luxor
The Luxor has a huge play centre and after 5 pm it is all for adults. Grab a drink and play life sized games like Operation, Perfection and more. But first you need to take a giant slide down to the playground! Beer and cocktail prices range from $9 to $18 and it costs $37 to get in with 12 credits.
Attend a Show
Las Vegas has no shortage of excellent entertainment and if your group aren’t gamblers then it is a must add on for any Las Vegas bachelorette itinerary. My favourite shows have always been at the Wynn or live music at Park MGM. If you’re new to Cirque de Soleil I suggest you start with O at the Bellagio which is a classic and one of the originals. Absinthe outside of the Cesars Palace is a racy variety show in a circus tent – see if you can find the Pier 17 Yacht Club speakeasy in the same area. But again, I do think blending a supper club reservation (The Mayfair, Superfrico or Delilah) with dinner is well worth it!
Show & Location | Price | Rating | Book Now |
O by Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio | $170 CAD pp | 4.4 | Viator |
Brad Garret’s Comedy Club in MGM Grand | $100 CAD pp | Varies based on Comedian | Viator |
Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay | $120 CAD pp | 4.5 | Viator |
Area 15 & Meow Wolf Omega Mart
This is such a unique experience and more is being added on. It is hard to pin point Area 15 but it is an interactive art space with live entertainment, shopping, restaurants, bars, an arcade, zip line and it all takes place in this neon world. It is unusual to say the least and very Vegas. A John Wick experience is rumoured to be arriving in 2024!
Atomic Golf by the Stratosphere or Top Golf behind MGM Grand
We had a great time experiencing Top Golf as a group of 6 during a random visit to Vegas a few years back. It was so much fun and a perfect add on for any Las Vegas Bachelorette itinerary. But beware of the heat! We pre-booked an air conditioned bay on the pool floor but we barely felt the A/C. Then put on top of that your minimum spend and you might be in the danger zone of heat stroke. Stay hydrated!
Top Golf is great fun but is more expensive than the newer Atomic Golf further down the strip. Atomic Golf is more user friendly and offers more light hearted games.
Pop Stroke by Tiger Woods
Okay, my last golf suggestion. Pop Stroke is a mini golf experience developed with Tiger Woods. You can play the challenging mini golf course and order drinks on the app to be brought out to your group. This is Vegas and technology at peak efficiency.
This wildly unique interactive art museum is a light show unlike any other. Step inside moving art projected onto the floors and walls. Move through rooms with hanging lights you need to push your way through. It is great for photos and at the end you have the option to enjoy their tea bar also with a light show performance projected onto your table and drink.
