Airalo eSim
Airalo is the world’s first eSIM store that solves the pain of high roaming bills by giving travelers access to eSIMs (digital SIM cards). More than one million people are already using Airalo’s eSIMs.
With eSIMs from Airalo, travelers can download and install a digital data pack for over 200 countries/regions and get connected anywhere in the world as soon as they land.
Airalo Benefits
- With Airalo’s eSIMs, travelers can access the Internet from virtually any country on the planet and don’t have to pay excessive roaming charges.

Our Packing Gear
Packing Cubes
I first discovered packing cubes after my first trip to Europe. I had left with a 50 lb suitcase and returned with a passion for carry-ons and backpacks. Simplicity and organization is key!
Quality Luggage
I can’t tell you how many suitcases we’ve gone through. Once I had a suitcase fall out of the back of a cab on a Las Vegas highway. It never broke open! So we have a few travel tips when it comes to suitcases and backpacks that won’t let you down!
For business trips or short hauls I like a good hard shell suitcase. Especially one that comes in unique colours so it is easy to spot. I always use my carry-on but if you’re a die hard or travel with kids this set is great!
My husband and I travelled to the UK for our honeymoon with our Osprey backpacks. They are compact enough for a carry-on and you don’t have to worry about fitting the pesky wheels into the overhead compartment.
I love a good crossbody bag for a few reasons. You can keep all your valuables right in front of you to deter pick pockets. You can access it with one hand if you’re carrying your child in the other. They also come in stylish looks now!
Our Recording & Audio Gear
iPhone
Taryn and I both use our iPhone for everyday shooting. It’s super convenient for us as long as our settings are on point. We like to shoot in 4K for YouTube videos at 30 fps and 60 fps if we are doing any slow motion in editing. HDR needs to be off as well.
If you’re a beginner this is the best way to start for any visual storytelling. Occasionally we have used our iPhone in underwater stories. In this case we use a quality Waterproof iPhone pouch case.
DJI Osmo Pocket 2
We are upgrading our camera gear to include the DJI Osmo Pocket 2. This little gadget is smaller than our iPhones when you consider general surface area and fits into our pockets even with its case. The frontal and back camera flip makes it easy to capture action scenes with the click of a button. 4k filming and photo captures makes it user friendly. Connect with your iPhone on the go and create stories, reels, etc. Bring it home and create your YouTube videos by transferring into Premiere Pro.
DJI Lapel Mic
One aspect we struggled with when we first started out was clear audio. We decided to up our game with the DJI Lapel microphones for two. It plugs right into our iPhone and captures audio. We love how discrete it is so we can record in a restaurant or at a festival and even far away from the iPhone for more dynamic shots.,
