My advice: As with anything or anywhere, do you research!”
If you think I’ve missed something let us all know about it in the comments too!
Picasso at The Bellagio

The Fountains add a hint of magic to your Las Vegas experience. ? by @trippingwithmybff
Perhaps one of the most expensive meals my husband and I have ever had together, Picasso is a fancy-ass place. You’ll recognize it from the Ocean’s 11 movie where Clooney sits down at Julia Roberts’ table as she awaits the arrival of Andi Garcia.
The room is decorated with real Picasso paintings in the walls, the views are of the iconic Bellagio fountains and oh yeah the food is just as gorgeous!
Mon Ami Gabi at Paris
Perhaps one of the best places to sit down and enjoy a proper breakfast of fresh juices, crepes and a fabulous crab benny that will set you right for the day. This is another classic and I urge you to dine outside so that you can people watch as well as enjoy the Bellagio fountains (without the crowds).
Gordon Ramsay Steak in Paris
Rose. Rabit. Lie at The Cosmopolitan
Momofuku at The Cosmopolitan
Momofuku’s food is Asian inspired with fantastic twists. You’ll want to stop by Christina Tosi’s MilkBar for dessert too!
Egg Slut at The Cosmopolitan
Gooey egg sandwiches/burgers are just the thing to kick that hangover, or many go to bed with after getting back to you hotel after a long night out.
This is my go to for a decadent breakfast on the go! I love it so much I included it in my top 3 Las Vegas breakfasts!
Wing Lei at The Wynn
Cut in The Palazzo
This is where my family goes when we want to splurge on a steak. Cut is by Wolfgang Puck and he’s got the good no matter what kind of protein you are looking for. One of my favourites (if I’ve done well at the tables or slots) is the pure Japanese Waguy beef but you also have 21 or 35 day aged cuts as well as American Wagyu options. Another worthy mention, the bread basket they offer throughout your dinner is the thing for all carb lovers.
Bouchon at The Venetian
I decided to take a chance in the Venetian Hotel and Casino. I had stayed here once before and found the rooms to be extremely spacious and great for those who have families of 4 or just desire more luxury for a lower price. However, the only down side was the maze we needed to take daily to get to and from our rooms. This involved multiple elevators and hallways!
Anyways, on this night in Vegas, I needed some comfort which was why I chose Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bistro which specializes in French comfort food. It was my turn to treat two other guests that we ran into down in Las Vegas so I was crossing my fingers that the final bill wouldn’t have been as startling as Picasso’s.
We treated ourselves to a unique but classic take on Foie Gras served inside a terrine. We got the 5oz size and later regretted it due to all the bread we ate in our attempt to polish the jar clean. The bread itself was knee-buckiling! We then deiced to order the special which was duck with cherries accompanied by a sweet and savoury cornbread. The dinner was perfect and it restored my faith in the culinary talents available in Sin City. Luckily, this dinner did not break the bank ($340 for 4)!
I love the place which offers best food in the world and Las Vegas is one those best places. You enjoy every bite.
So true! Thanks for your comment Alex!
WOW!! mm im just loving those fries 🙂 🙂
I will be in Vegas in October and will take your cue on Bouchon. I have dined in Valentino there (several years ago) and at several of the Bellagio restaurants (Le Cirque, Circo and Olives). There is no shortage of high-end dining in Vegas. Thanks for the review… Oh, and I love fois gras!

Thanks for this – I almost felt like I got a vacation.
I haven't been to Vegas in years and from what you have shown it's time to go back! Love blackjack but love the food even more and these dishes look yummy. Thanks for stopping by my blog and hope for more treats from yours!
Murissa, I have not heard good things about Pshityoh's (notice the spelling).
but I did have the pleasure of Bouchons Bistro. not a huge fan of the Frois Gras but the duck is great….you will have to go to Cut (for the best Steak in Vegas) or to Lavo (best pasta in Vegas) Cut is a little on the pricey side but well worth it and Lavo is very very affordable. I am sure you are a regular in Vegas the high roller you are (or can be!!!) thanks for another great post.
remember, don't take a card on soft 20, it kills the table and it shows you might be a bit greedy…..
I'm still in shock over $450 for 2!!! Shame on that restaurant for not having made you feel that it was worth the sit-down. And to think that it was in the Bellagio Hotel of all places.
Love the title and the photos!
